General Community Guidelines
which are applicable to all hives, all platforms and all groups.
1. Respectful Interactions
No Spamming or Disruptive Behavior: Avoid excessive messaging, frequent image posting, irrelevant links, inciting drama, personal attacks, toxic remarks, or harassment.
No External Sharing: Do not screenshot or share chat logs (including forwarding, screenshots, etc. of group chat history) outside the community (such as to other groups, other forums, etc.) to provoke conflict or public discussion when not approved by the admins and other involved members. We are not responsible for anything members share outside the group. If you have seen anyone sharing chat logs to other groups or platforms, please report it to the admins. You will be rewarded for your help, and the person who shared the chat logs will be immediately banned.
Keep Conflicts In-House: Any disputes or disagreements that do not have a positive impact on our company, it's services or products, most members in the group, or the development of humanity and technology should be resolved privately. Do not involve other members or admins unless necessary. Doxxing, threatening, or blackmailing is strictly prohibited.
Mind Your Energy: Negativity should be respected, however, spreading it around is really not cool. Keep it to yourself. Treat everyone, including staff, with respect and kindness.
Respect Different Opinions: Always respect others and their opinions, even if they don't seem right to you. This includes respecting others' sexuality, lifestyle choices, beliefs, and other personal matters. Constructive discussions are welcome, but always ensure to remain respectful.
Every Inch Counts: No spamming, or sending the same and meaningless messages (like long essays or repetitive "666", "666666", "666666666", and some stickers, etc.; also those repeaters, where one person says something and then a bunch of people follow up saying the same thing). The screen space is public and limited, it's not your home, you can't just take it. Boring spamming will only waste the time of those who are really looking for information, and make the group chaotic. Also, please do not split one message into multiple messages, this will make the group messy, please try to express the complete meaning in one message.
2. Content Standards
Never Talk about State Affairs: Avoid discussing nations, politics, religion, race, sexuality, or other sensitive topics. This includes sharing content that could be considered illegal or harmful. Neither praise, comment, nor criticize any nations, political, religion party, figures, events, or any other sensitive topics, as this may lead to endless trouble for you, us, and others in the group.
Zero Tolerance for Illegal Content: Do not share or promote illegal activities, including piracy, hacking, or any form of criminal behavior. You should also follow the rules of the region the chat platform is based in. (For example, if the chat platform is based in the US, you should follow US laws; if the chat platform is based in CN, you should follow the Chinese laws, where some websites are not allowed to be accessed by some means.) If your illegal content leads to legal liability, group violations, or other losses for us, we will hold you accountable in a serious manner.
Family Safe: Keep content family-friendly, avoid NSFW, explicit (such as sexual, bloody content, including but not limited to showing, implying sexual activity, related body parts, etc.), disgusting or offensive material. Violence, pornography, or hate speech is strictly prohibited. Remember that kids of all ages are in the group, so please keep it clean.
No Plagiarism: Do not share content that is not yours without proper credit. This includes copying, stealing, or claiming someone else's work as your own.
No Watering: If you want to send "bubble" text or similar stickers in the group from time to time, then please do not join this group, we do not welcome any watering behavior, similar behavior includes but is not limited to QQ group's check-in, clock-in features, bot check-ins, song requests, etc. If you want to find a place where you can water, then please create a group yourself, or join other groups that allow watering. We don't need you to "liven up the atmosphere", what we need is meaningful discussion and communication. Our community is not for you to "play around", this is a serious place, except for the chit-chat and entertainment channels.
Language Preferences: We may have different language preferences for different chat platforms that you should always follow, which are listed at the entrance of the invite link. If there is no language preference, you may use your preferred language, but please be aware that not everyone may understand it. If you are asked to switch to a different language, please respect the request.
3. Trust & Authenticity
No Impersonation: Never pretend to be official staff or representatives, or do anything that could mislead others.
No Automated Users: Bots and automated accounts are not allowed to join any of our communities unless explicitly permitted by administrators. Unauthorized bots may ruin the experience for other members and steal the chat history, and we will take action against them. Anyone who invites or adds bots to the group will be immediately banned.
Fact-Check First: Refrain from spreading unverified claims or misinformation. You should be responsible for the information you share. If you are not sure about the information, please do not share it.
No Harmful Actions: Do not share content that endangers members' safety or the group's integrity. This includes malicious links, phishing, or scams.
4. Profit & Promotion
No Ads or Promotions: Unsanctioned ads, product/service recommendations, buying/selling requests, or idle trading promotions are not allowed. This also includes sharing referral links, affiliate links, or any other form of self-promotion. (e.g. "Check out my new video", "Join my Discord server", "I made an xxx, everyone is welcome to check it out", "I'm selling this item", "Help me build my app", various commissions/requests, "I'm looking for someone to do this for me, I'll pay you", "I'm new here, this is my channel, please subscribe", "If you need anything, you can DM me", "We are recruiting artists in our studio", etc.)
No Exploitative Behavior: Do not take advantage of the community for personal gain, such as asking for free work, services, recruitment, paid services, or any other form of exploitation.
The Finale
If you have violated any of the rules above, you will be warned, muted, kicked, or banned based on the severity of the violation, and the message will be immediately deleted. If your actions lead to any losses for us, including but not limited to economic, reputational, or legal liabilities, we will hold you accountable to the fullest extent. If you witness any violations, please report them to the admins.
The rules are subject to change, and we reserve the right to enforce them at our discretion. Please keep an eye on the rules in our official website. All rules are subject to the latest version on the official website. These rules apply to all platforms, groups, and communities we manage. We may have additional rules for specific chat platforms, which are listed at the entrance of the invite link.
We strive to foster a welcoming, creative, and safe environment. Let's keep conversations kind, constructive, and fun for everyone! 😄
Stay On-Topic, Stay Awesome
Channels exist to keep conversations focused and helpful. Respect the purpose of each space - off-topic chatter clogs the hive!
We have divided some of the communities into different topics or interests to help you find the right place to chat. Each channel has its own rules and guidelines, so please read them carefully before participating. Before you join, please make sure you are joining the right channel for your interests.
Division of Topics
For Discord, Telegram, QQ Guild, you can join with just an all-in-one link. And you can see the channel list after joining.
For QQ Groups, each topic has its own group, and you should join the group that matches your interests.
Fo other platforms, we haven't set up the channels yet, which means you can talk about anything in the group. However, once we set up the channels, you should follow the channel conduct.
How It Works
Off-topic discussions and topics that don't fit other channels should be only discussed in the General
, Off-Topic
or Entertainment
channels. These channels are designed for casual conversations and off-topic discussions. All non-work, non-technical, or casual chatter (e.g., jokes, hobbies, random questions) must go here as well. These stuff are strictly prohibited in other channels. Product-related topics are not allowed in the General
, Off-Topic
or Entertainment
channels.
Only discuss topics directly related to the channel's purpose. e.g., "Desktop Development" → desktop coding/software talk only (Strictly technical, and no mobile or web development, which have their own channels). Post in the correct channel. If unsure, ask moderators first. No unrelated discussions (e.g., memes, off-topic questions).
Product-specific channels are for discussing the product only, this includes feedback, asking for help, suggestions, bug reports, tips & tricks sharing, and more. e.g., "MCSkinn" → only talk about MCSkinn, Minecraft skinning. Anything else such as memes, jokes, Minecraft gameplay, mods, or other games and products should be discussed in the appropriate channels. Do NOT discuss a product in the wrong channel.
Special Notes
- Minecraft game content, if not related to skins or texture packs, should be discussed in the off-topic channel not in the MCSkinn channel.
Posts in wrong channels will be removed or moved to the correct channel. Repeated offenses will result in a warning, mute, or ban.
Capacity Rules
As you know, some social media platforms may limit how many members you can have in a group. To ensure fair access and lively discussions in these platform-limited groups, we have set the following rules for capacity:
Active Membership Policy
Some platforms cap group sizes. When a group nears capacity, we temporarily remove inactive or non-participating members to free space for new joiners. This policy doesn't apply to those platforms without group size limits.
We only remove members only if the group is near capacity. We do not remove members when there are still plenty of open spots for new members.
Who Gets Removed?
Accounts inactive for too long
Members who only "lurk" (read but never engage), or who engage in ways that don't contribute to the group (e.g., spamming)
Removal ≠ Rejection
You're Always Welcome Back! If removed, simply rejoin via the original invite link when you're ready to participate. No hard feelings - we're just making room for fresh voices!
Not a Punishment This isn't a ban, and doesn't reflect poorly on you. Just think of it as a "reset" to keep conversations vibrant.
No Splinter Groups
Why? Fragmented groups dilute community magic.
Our Stance: We won't create Group #2, #3, etc. Focused, active hubs > multiple dead chats.
What Should I Do?
Try to engage more in the group if you can. Now's the time to speak up!
Add our official website to your bookmarks, leave quietly, and come back loudly when you're ready to participate.
Choose a platform with no member limits. For example, Discord and Telegram have much looser capacity restrictions than QQ does.
Go talk to the owner of the social media platform and ask them to remove the group size limit.
TL;DR
We prioritize engaged members. Left quietly? Come back loudly! 🚀
Rules are the roots, but you bring the magic!
